So, if the main trunk is going past where you need it; then cap it and tap minumum 12 “ from the cap with a inside hammer lock or however on both sides where you need it! Double check your trunk size. Has to be addiquit to handle both ducts that you will tap
T connection of main truck?
Building an addition and i need to tap off existing trunk with a ‘T’ connection in order to extens ductwork towards the new space. I have it all designed for sizes but there isnt a clear notation on the best way to incorporate a ‘T’. Whats the optimal connection(ie pant, wye, offset wye/straight thru)
