As a contractor how would you feel about customers having access to average residential HVAC and Plumbing repair costs?

Many will say that there is not an average cost to repair but I would argue that most common residential repairs can be averaged out in most states except a very few like far Northern States and California.

What if there were a way to join into a group of contractors who pre- agree to charging within these pricing guidelines to customers who are brought to them by a marketing process that works off such a understanding between customers and contractors.

Well its here. I am sure there will be some substantial push back from the industry about this but regardless it is here. Similar to the car repair industry and sites like RepairPal and AutoMD where consumers can put in their cars make, model, year and repair needed to get a average repair cost so it will be for residential HVAC and Plumbing repairs.

Here is the new site with a link to the Android app.

We are now inviting contractors to join for free. Only one requirement. The contractors can only charge an amount no greater then the regular repair rates listed on the site(unless it is an overtime call) to those homeowners who are referred thru the site. Repairs are based on a good margin to allow the contractors a normal profit. Our pricing is able to be viewed by both homeowners and contractors so if pricing is too low for some contractors then we understand why they won't participate and we respect that decision. Unit replacement prices are not displayed so contractors can give a new system proposal based on their standards to the homeowners.

We are now inviting hvac and plumbing contractors to join for free. Look at the pricing guidelines and if you feel the maximum amount shown is acceptable then we will place your company info into the site. Just click on join contractors and fill out the form. There is no gimmick. The site is new so we need contractors in areas where the customers are looking to do repairs or replacements of their equipment.
