Looking for feedback between two systems that are priced similar for install. I’ve had an American Standard for 18 years and looking to replace it. I have a quote for a new American 15 seer, single stage similarly priced to a Rheem 16 seer 3 stage. Both have 10 year parts warranty. I know American is know for their reliability but Rheem would have more tech/features. I live in FL so its hot, house is 2100sqft. Same company would install either one. But do I get the lower Seer, less tech, American Standard in hopes they still make better quality units or go for the 3 stage Rheem. Better seer, better eletric bill, more humidity control, etc.?
