My revenues jumped when I started using a customer financing company instead of waiting for the customer to get back to me when they had the funds for the installation.

Financing is an amazing option to be able to offer the hesitant customer.
If you can find a few different finance companies, that have bid % on their options (i.e. out of a $7000.00 installation. Installing Company gets 70% Finance company gets 30%) so that way if they're denied you have multiple companies to try and run credit, and close out the sale.

Also find out if any of your Financing companies offer a 12 Month Same As Cash program, or a differed interest one.

Customer financing is really good idea, it has many benefits of businesses as well as for customers. First of all it's a boost to marketing strategy to attract business with special financing offers.
