My heat pump isn't making heat and fighting backup coils. I replaced the solenoid on the reversing valve already. If I pull one of the wires off the solenoid and pit it back on real quick it works fine though.

It's a trane unit and I've tried tapping it and it does nothing. Have 24volts to solenoid. I'm very capable to work on them just don't have the necessary tools to actually do the work is the problem. Have a local guy coming out tomorrow to look at it so hopefully he can give me an answer. Thanks for the reply
