Want to learn the ins and outs of hvac contracting

What's the best way to learn how to be a hvac contractor. I mean I'm new to the trade and it takes four years to obtain a license, so what should I be learning on these job sites as a installer/tech. Also where do people go to even find these bids and how hard I'd it to win them.

If you are talking about job/gig bidding, than in my experience I would avoid that if you can. Do you have your license or are you starting that process out now?

Your best bet is to establish yourself locally. Get some decent business cards and get yourself out there. This being the case after you have your license of course.
