Problem of condensation

I would like to seek someone’s help to solve the following problem.

Air conditioning system is provided by an AHU in office. No exhaust and fresh air system were installed in office. There is condensation on windows in the office recently. Users complained and requested to solve the problem immediately.

Is it high humidity of outdoor and low indoor temperature?

How to resolve the condensation problem?

Re: Problem of condensation

Is it single pane? Single pane windows are the worst

Re: Problem of condensation

Ben9108 No outside air is an issue within its self. Keeps VOC's to a minimum, controls CO2 levels and provides a positive pressure from the space. Heat travels to cool, so if you are cold inside and warm out, the heat will come in from any spots where the building could be leaking or anytime a door is opened. There can be many reasons that is causing your windows to sweat but that sweat is there because the surface of your glass is getting to dewpoint. There are many dewpoint charts on line that show the temperature vs. humidity relationship which will allow dew to form. You will need to take temp and humid readings at the glass and figure out is diffusers blowing on the glass windows and warm outside, interior humidity level, plot it out on the psychometric chart and figure out what you need to fix.

Re: Problem of condensation

You may actually need to install a smaller capacity AC system to fix this problem.

Condensation affects the performance of buildings, causing problems such as: Mould growth which is a cause of respiratory allergies. ... Whether it is a period home, new property or a bungalow, the problems associated with condensation affects all of us.
