i have a restriction in orrafice no txv never performed this repair on older system other than a clogged drier is there a screen ??? does orrafice get clogged 5tons a circuit anybody did this repair before????

I am not sure on this model but I have worked on newer York 10 ton units and there is a strainer just in front of the DX valve.
You should see a hex nut right at the valve where the liquid line goes in, after reclaim you can cut the feed tube and unscrew the hexnut, be careful when you get near the end of the threads because the orrifice will be loose and can fall out. Check the direction of the orrifice so you install the same way after you remove the strainer.

We have removed several over the years. They are a really fine mesh and will cause the problem you are explaining.

generally it will not happen. pl. check power element/equalizer line.
If you have still doubt you give me model of txv. so that I can send manual
for same.
