carrier coil problem


carrier weathermaker rooftop coil has a screw hole in it .The coil seems to be aluminun it is in the distibutor not in the fins the coil has a special coating I am told it is a E coating prices for coil from supplier were around 9000 .00 any one have any experience repairing one other than changing the coil thanks for the help in advance

if your in doubt bring in a good portable tig welder and have them close the hole. e-coat is nothing special.
