Applying for mechanical contractors license!

I was wondering if anyone knows how the board for the state of florida feels about criminal backgrounds. I had trouble when I was a teenager and have spent thousands to apply for this license. Will I be denied for my past wrong doings. Its been almost 11 years.

I don't think you'll be denied a license for your wrong doings committed a decade back. However you will be required to have a criminal background check performed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
