You can never stop learning


Has anyone taken HVAC /R courses like these? What has your experience been? Do you feel that it helped you on your job?
  • Refrigeration Fundamentals/Brazing
  • Electricity for HVAC /R technicians
  • Heating and Split Systems
  • Commercial Refrigeration I (CFC Certification)
  • Print Reading/HVAC /R System Design
  • Control System/Building Automation Fundamentals I & II
  • Hydronic Heating - VAV/VVT
  • Chiller Systems

Every course you listed will help an apprentice learn and work in the HVAC field along with necessary on the job training.
The Chiller course may be for the more advanced technician.

How many years do you need to attend for all the courses listed?

Of course, it can benefit you. I'm still taking an online course but my company requires every employee to have a certification. It doesn't just add to your experience but it broaden your knowledge more on the subject.
