Hey is anyone typing a nice invoice at the customers site? I am thinking it would amke me look more professional, if I just had a cheap printer and a tablet or something. Even could print the reading from my fieldpiece. Just wondering what everyone else is doing.

Speaking of tablets is there any invoicing apps for droids that anyone knows off?

I use an iPad to do my buisness transactions. I use a program app called invoice to go and the droid products can use it to I believe. I email the invoices to the customers email address and if they do not have an email address I made place forms up and will hand write the so they have there copy. The program keeps track of how much I make and I do credit card transaction thru Inuits (gopayment) app for the iPhone which is also available for droid products

If you walk in with an Ipad or ability to print invoices, it adds instant credibility. It is going to make your job a whole lot easier and the customer is going to be impressed when your competition is giving them a sloppily written quote.

I have checked out the invoice 2go. It seems ok, but looks very cheap and cheesy when you print out the invoice. I didnt see a way to insert clip art or anything like that. For instance I am a member of the local BBB, so I want the logo on the invoice. MAybe you can do that with the paid version? Any other programs out there?

WOW! these folks have horrible horrible customer service. Im trying to purchase the app and they wont even call me back. There is no support number that I can find or email address. What they call a 24 hour "chat line" is just a form you fill out and they get back to you (well it has been 4 hours now, so I dont know when they get back to you)

There has to be something better than this out there!

We recently started using an ipad CRM app called Routzy and love it! Not only can you complete customer invoices (quotes and proposals) on the spot, but you can collect their signatures and quickly email the forms to them.

It has a lot of great functionality that have really made a difference for us. Since it's more than an invoicing app -- it's a CRM app so you can store all the interactions you have with each individual customer, and all the proposals, pictures, quotes and anything else for that customer.

We also like that we can sync all our information with Dropbox and that all our data is available on the ipad with or without an internet connection.
