Anyone using Fieldone, Acowin or Wintec software
We are still trying to find a good business managment system and I have looked at demos from a couple of these and they all look very similar and pricing is done differently but it all shakes out about the same.
It looks like it will boil down to what is the most user freindly for our situation. |

Re: Anyone using Fieldone, Acowin or Wintec software
We use Field One software... We were using servicom and it was very outdated based on the newer softwares... We shopped for over a year and a half for the new software and in our minds field one was no doubt the clear winner... They are based in New York and they made three trips down to South Florida to help us out with our questions and issues before we made the purchase from them... The customer service is great and they have the best software in the industry... They are always making the software better and they love to get feedback from the dealers they have using it. Just my 2-cents!

Quickbooks is very popular if you are a small-mid sized company. I think because most accountants also work with it and you can send your stuff directly to them through the program.

If you need a good invoice management software for a small business try Nevitium (you can find it on cnet and it works on Mac too).

Re: Anyone using Fieldone, Acowin or Wintec software
We use (and have used since 2006) Wintac Pro, it is everything you need to run an HVAC business. There are updates every year that are very affordable and I have had great luck. the tech support is free for each year that you upgrade and they are very helpful. They will stay ont he phone with you till the problem is resolved.
another great thing is that it is user freindly- mostly self explanitory. |

We use Wintac software for our HVAC/Plumbing business and really like it. We find it easy to use and fairly simple for all our employees to learn and use. We just did the 2 year upgrade and it looks like in 2012 they are making it even better then it has been with many more options.

Re: Anyone using Fieldone, Acowin or Wintec software
I've seen several of them. I like these two...HVAC Pack Software which is designed for Quick Books ( www.HVACPack.com ) and the other is S2000WIN Field Service Software. The HVAC Pack software is integrated with Quick Books and offers a very solid solution at a fair price. The S2000WIN software is much more flexible for a medium size company. They are at www.S2000Software.com. It is also more expensive.
