Anyone dealing with some non-paying customers?

Ran a call from new Real Estate Broker, system down house rented. Heat pump was a mound of ice so bad I needed an ax to clear it( gutter above dripped on it for ever). I was stupid enough to clear the ice access the unit and find a bad board. When I called the agent I was told I would have to bill the Homeowner on the west coast. I left and monthly I send the Hunde a bill with more and more interest applied.

My wife ran across a plumber 2 days ago that asked about me and she told him not to use that real estate agency. He had the same problem and still accepts calls from her and waits for the homeowner.

Part of the Masters License should be "How to Make a Profit"

Want a service call MrMs. Real Estate? Fine give me the credit card number to pre-run thru P.Pal, or whoever you use. Card good, then run the call assess the damages, get a signed work order then do the repairs. No more work done for these people or the absentee owner without a work order and money up front. Im better off watching Jerry or Cops or even MMouse Club than working for nothing, costs me less.

Yeah I make them pay when the work is done... I make sure they are clear on payment expectation before we start the work... There are a couple that bounce checks but I work out payment with them and it is not really a problem...
