Career Research Interview


Hello, I am student enrolled in college pursuing a career in HVAC. I do need a formal answers to this questionnaire from a professorial HVAC technician to write a research paper to the career I am perusing at this time. Would be appreciative if this questionnaire can be answered with 3 to 4 days.

4 How and by whom are work decisions made that affect you? service manager, dispatcher, customer, where i go what i do and when

5. What do you like most about your job? Least? most people seeing different things working outside challenging troubleshooting least paperwork on call

6. How much influence do you have over decisions that affect you? over 50% I can make most decisions unless customer or owner decides otherwise

7. What do you find most difficult about your job? paperwork!

8. What about the job would you change if you could?one hour service contracts on small equipment,

9. What sort of person do you have to be really good at this job?
smart, high iq, good with science, math, people, like outdoors, good driver, hard working,honest, dilligent, can not be a quitter, self motivated.

10. Is there any specific advice you would give to a person entering this field? make sure you love it!
