What would you like to see?

HVACSite.com is a new site and I'm sure there is a lot of room for improvement. Please let me know what you would like to see changed or added to make this site great.

I am always open to suggestions or comments!

Thanks

Re: What would you like to see?

Might be a good idea to break it up into some catagories like gas, oil, a\c and then commercial and residential. Maybe even hydronic, steam, forced hot air sub catagories.

I agree. I just want to keep the number of topics low until we get some traffic. Then, once posting is going at a good rate I'll add more.

Right now I need help with some initial posts to get things going. Thanks

When the place gets populated, let's get a geothermal section.

Great suggestion!

I think we are about ready to start promoting the site. I'm going to send out an email next week to get it off the ground

pictures of hot chicks and beer

Gives the guys a relaxed atmosphere to unwind after work in.

Social groups would be cool too.

I can understand why you want a place to relax but this will remain a professional and family friendly place.

The pic was just for fun. It was "G" rated.

Re: What would you like to see?

Nathan, I would like to see a reference area/library where the Pro's can post links or just the name of useful websites that they have access to/know of. For example the Honeywell site etc. I find that to be very useful as finding technical info without knowing who has it and their web site name is difficult.

Thanks

How a bout a contest?

We could run a contest for "Hvac Site Helper of the month."

We judge a whole bunch of hot chicks and the winner gets to be some lucky forum member's "Hvac Helper For the Month".

Instead of a swim suit they wear a tool belt.

Whatta you guys think?

Yea, PG images or not we aren't going to turn this site into a place to post images of women. Sorry.

Yuri, I agree about having places on hold valuable information like links. I'm working on that.

Re: What would you like to see?

I'd like to see a wholesaler's corner forum. Somewhere where wholesale distributor members such as myself can field concerns and suggestions from contractors. Sometimes, what the wholesaler thinks is going to be beneficial to contractors is just not what the contractors want or need.

This would also be an area where wholesalers could try to explain why they must do some of the seemingly stupid things they do at times, and vice-versa for the contractors.

That's not a bad idea. What does everyone else think about that?

Not a bad idea. Here's a start of a hot chicks butt wrapped around a beer can;

You have pissed me off real good Mechanical.

You seem to have problems with knowledgeable people. I don't mean me in particular but a lot of other guys whose shoes most guys could not fill.

That crap about me going to a porn sit was over the top...ain't you got a sense of where to draw the line?

You better learn real quick when somebody is just funnin', pal, or you will have a world of trouble on this site.

The above PM was sent to you in objection to a post you made telling me I should go to a Porn Site.

As you can see the mods removed your obscene post and left mine

If your feelings get hurt that easy you should not be on any board.

My post to Robo was in the spirit of good fun. He got it. Why can't you?
