Re: Drinking

This is not officially an official drinking thread

either way I stole the idea from some other forum

Re: Drinking

People wonder why I drink. If it's not the HO's, it the hacks that work a little then think they can do it all. One of my boys ( actually highly trained young men ) brought in his good friends' 17 year old son to intern ( for free ) to keep him busy for the summer. After 1/2 day in the shop, young intern decides he can replace a thermostat for his aunt. Blown transformer & aunt mad at me - WTF, I didn't send him, low voltage wasn't even involved in shop fab.

Lost a couple volume contractors recently to apprentices that was taught how to hang duct, have barely an idea how to size duct, one took a manual j class class & tried to practice on our projects, never came close but they can do the job cheaper, that's what the HO's & especially contractors want right now.

I'll just have a couple shots of bourbon & coke and when they want things fixed so that it actually provides comfort, I will show no mercy.

I hope all of us who have earned our licenses survive and again be profitable.

Cheers!
