I hear from tons of contractors that can't stand the NX. I personally haven't had any problems.
Some contractors can't stand the Riello. Again, I haven't had any problems.
I took the time to train in both burners and learn about them. Parts, settings, methods. At the end of the day, combustion is combustion. How you adjust the air and pump pressures is where the training comes in.
There are many, many contractors that know a lot more than I do and have seen a lot of burners.
My question is: does anyone hate these burners and why? Or do you like the burners?
In your opinion, are there improvements to these newer burners over the AFG or Elite Series burners?
Personally, I love the new technology and I'm seeing bright things in the future of oil heat:thumbsup:
I am lucky enought to have started my career back when Shell head, Timkin Rotary, GE down fired and Arco were still in abundance. Seems like most everything has a Beckett stuffed into it now. I like Beckett. It's an easy burner to work on. Easy to adjust and fits nicely to a lot of OEM and retro fit applications. That said, I have always thought that Carlin had a slight edge in adjustability and is a better choice for equipment that many have some positive draft issues. Riello is a fine burner indeed but having to carry different parts was always an issue. By now though there are so many of them out there that we all have sort of had to stock up and go with the flow so to speak. In the end, it's not really the burner as much as it is the guy setting it up. An ability to read the directions is crucial these days.
There it is.....the perfect statement. IMO, it doesn't matter what you install. Just understand it and stick to the basic principles and it should work:thumbsup:
I have worked on a small hand full on NX burners but have had my share of Relio burners the problem with them is there picky. Im not saying there bad because when they work they do a good job but when they break down well most of the time they break down lol. But im a true believer in the key to a good working unit is the start up of the system. If you set it up right from the get go then you should have no problems.
Selection of eco-compatible solutions.
Some key elements in the burner design process are the eco-compatibility of materials and components and their life cycle. All aspects involved in the material manufacturing, processing and use are held into account, putting priority on material recycling/reusing instead of disposal.
New product development includes the possible use with renewable source fuel.
And our care for environmental impact goes beyond the choice of components, material or fuel. Indeed, we take great care for production processes as well as the management of the entire Company.
